Plastics Fraud Specialist

Department: Operations Department FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: The Plastics Fraud Specialist will assist members with their fraud cases, work back-office reports and ensure proper processing of all fraud cases.


  • Process daily fraud and dispute reports
  • Organize cases to appropriate folder and excel
  • Monitor pending cases daily
  • Follow up with members prior to submitting cases
  • Process refunds for debit fraud cases and make account corrections if needed
  • Submit debit fraud and dispute cases to PSCU
  • Balances debit fraud cases with reports from accounting
  • Balances credit fraud cases with reports from PSCU
  • Prepares and submits reports to Board
  • Process fraud credit card charge offs
  • Notate accounts for delinquent credit cards
  • Monitors delinquent credit card accounts for activity
  • Generate and mail collection letters for delinquent credit cards
  • Follow up with member regarding delinquent credit card
  • Close delinquent credit card and forward account to collection department
  • Process delinquent credit card charge offs
  • Other duties assigned


  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred


  • Detailed oriented
  • Exceptional member service skills required
  • Problem solving skills required
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient typing skills in Microsoft Office and Windows required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Communicate effectively over multiple remote and electronic delivery channels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.20 - $31.66 per hour
